The Hope Collective partnered with HMYOI Werrington to deliver the first ever Hope Hack in custody. The event involved 40 young people up to the age of 18 who reside in HMYOI Werrington to join us in mini hack events to discuss issues that matter most to them. The young people developed innovative solutions to issues within the prison community and wider community. This was the first event of many in custody to ensure that the Reimagined manifesto captures the voices from young people who have been directly affected by inequalities in society. All young people had a performance from the talented spoken word artist, John Bernard, as well as receiving a book, courtesy of our partners Ingeus as a thank-you for their involvement.
