Violence Reduction Units

The Scottish Violence reduction unit was launched in 2006. The rest of the UK has adopted its successful public health philosophy and there are currently 21 Violence reduction units across the UK. Their hyper-local grass roots community work is a vital prevention strategy in keeping young people safe. The Hope Collective is dedicated to supporting their work on a UK-wide basis and encouraging a broad-church societal support network, a public health movement.
